A cricket tournament helped raise £28,000 for a foundation helping improve the lives of children in the developing world.
More than 350 people enjoyed The Bal Gopal Foundation’s annual cricket day last week which saw eight teams battle it out in the contest.
The day also included activities for non cricketers including a bouncy castle, face painting, games and a barbeque.
The charity, based in Pinner Road, Harrow, last year helped educate hundreds of underprivileged children in India and the money raised from the cricket event will go towards building a new school.
