Members of the public are invited to bend and stretch their way to tranquillity as instructors celebrate the first ever Yoga day.
Six Harrow-based Chi Kri yoga instructors will stage an event on Sunday, June 21 to celebrate the first International Yoga Day.
Following a declaration from the United Nations general assembly for a day of official recognition, instructors Amirtha Selvathasan, Sheena Shah, Shirley Jordan, Mehul and Miti Shah, and Rina Rawal will be offering free classes at Harrow Arts Centre in Hatch End.
Mayor Councillor Krishna Suresh and mayoress Sasi Suresh will launch the Harrow UN International Yoga Day at midday with a public address, before both taking part in the first yoga class of the day. No bookings are required.
To view the day schedule, visit the Chi Kri website www.chikri.com or the Chi Kri facebook event.
