St Paul’s Cathedral is holding a service in memory of Father Clive on bank holiday Monday.

More than 400 mourners gathered at St Anselm’s Parish Church in Hatch End for the funeral of parish priest Father Clive Pearce on Friday, April 15.

The service was led by Reverend Jonathan Baker, Bishop of Fulham, with several other bishops and clergymen from all over the country in attendance, including St Paul’s Cathedral.

The bishop paid tribute to Father Clive’s “intellect, wisdom and gentle humanity” and to a man who had clearly touched the lives of many.

The memorial Choral Evensong on Monday, May 2, will be held at 5pm in the cathedral and is open to everyone.

An open day is to be held at St Anselm’s, Westfield Park, Hatch End on Saturday, May 7, from 11am-2pm.
