A TWO-year-old boy has life threatening injuries after he was hit by a car.
The boy and his 59-year-old grandfather were taken to an East London hospital after being hit by a red Ford Focus around 7.40pm last night (Friday August 26) in Kenton Road with the junction of Claremont Avenue.
Next of kin have been informed about the boy's condition, but his grandfather's condition is not life threatening.
London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance attended the scene alongside police.
The 22-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He was taken to a north London police station where he was bailed to a date in October.
