Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is coming to the UK and getting tickets is a little different to the average concert.

Fans must wait for register codes so they can access the general sale of the tickets but not all fans will be able to secure a code.

So what does it mean if you get a pre-access code and what happens if you don’t?

Taylor Swift register codes to be released today ahead of ticket sales

Taylor Swift fans will be hoping to secure tickets to the UK shows today (July 5) but it’s not as simple as going on to a ticket site to buy them.

Fans were given the opportunity to register for tickets and registration is now closed.

It’s down to luck if fans who registered get given a code and if they do receive a code, they’ll gain access to the general sale of the tickets.

However, fans that don’t receive a code will not be able to try and get tickets in the general sale.

When does the general sale of Taylor Swift tickets begin?

Registration for the pre-access codes has closed and Ticketmaster says everyone who has registered will receive an email with more information.

Fans will be issued tickets on a first-come first-served basis, according to the ticket retailer.
