Hassen Rasool will be part of the line-up of a charity's forthcoming fundraising tour.

The tour takes in London, Manchester and Sheffield and a host of major cities.

Hassen is renowned for his emotive and powerful recitations of the Quran and the Call to Prayer and will join a range of 16 acts including comedians and Nasheed (Islamic songs) artists.

The multi-talented Hassen  has performed live at many venues such as Royal Albert Hall, The Shakespeare Globe, V&A Museum, Trafalgar Square, The House of Lords and even at The Supreme Court.

The show will also feature Safe Adam, who has sold out concerts all over the world and has toured in the UK, was the latest act to be confirmed.

Adam has been on a five-year break from performing and has millions of followers online.

Refugee superstar, MoYah, a Mozambican-born bilingual Afrofusion artist, will join Waqas, the lead singer and founder of the internationally acclaimed band Outlandish, and singer Sajal, who played the lead in the hit pantomime Cinder'Aliyah.

Penny Appeal charity, which is organising the event, posted: "Showcasing some of the best 'Confidently Muslim, Comfortably Britishtalent, the Big Muslim Variety Show brings together a dynamic range of performers, from beatboxers to poets, Nasheed artists to stand-up comedians.

"We have carefully curated a lineup that represents the very best in the business, featuring established artists as well as upcoming stars."
