Pinner Under-14s enjoyed a crushing 38-12 victory away at Watford in a friendly match on Sunday.
Five first-half tries, including scores from James Nye, Tom Davies and Sam Alexander put Pinner in control before Davies crashed over for his second late in the second half.
Joseph Holden added eight points from the boot to secure a comfortable win for a rapidly-improving Pinner side.
Pinner started strongly and were rewarded for their efforts when Nye weaved through the Watford defence to score a well-taken effort.
Davies then got in on the act, breaking away from a powerful drive to stroll over the line before Holden added a successful conversion.
The game was effectively over at half time when Alexander scored under the points before Pinner added two more tries to make it 31-0 at the interval.
Watford rallied at the start of the second half and were rewarded in the form of an unconverted try.
The respite was brief though as Davies smashed through the Watford defence to score a brilliant second try under the posts. Holden then sent the resulting conversion over to conclude Pinner’s scoring.
There was time for Watford to score a second try, which proved to be little more than a consolation for the home side, as Pinner wrapped up the convincing win.
