It turned out to be a fantastic weekend for Chris Shaw at the Vagabonds Club Championships finals in Pinner, as he came away from the event with three titles.
He retained his men’s Singles title by beating Oliver Benedyk in straight sets, the first of which was particularly hard fought, his opponent taking it to a tie break which Shaw won 7-3.
The second set was more routine for him, as he swept aside his opponent to win 6-1.
In addition to his success in the men’s Singles, Shaw was also victorious in the Mixed Doubles and men’s Doubles, meaning he walked away from the Vagabonds Club Championships finals with three titles to his name.
